Let me introduce you to Chico and Stella. These are some crazy turtles. They do these poses and can stay in them for hours. they are acrobats. LOL. I have had them for 8yrs. They were some tiny little things when I first got them. Now Stella is larger than her husband. and does not like to be picked up. She wiggles and scwerms like crazy when its time to clean the tank. Since she is larger and moves so much trying to get away I need 2 hands for her. But Chico who is named after my brother that I don't see that often is a cool calm turtle. My brother not so much..total opposite. In the last pic Stella has 1 leg up in the air, Like she is doing the perfect balancing pose. I don't know how long they were like this, I kept glancing over while I watched a movie..which was 2hrs. After that I forgot to even pay attention, They are pros!
